This article is part of a series focused on our value work, through which we are introducing the shared values of the ACG to Division Fidelix. During the spring, summer, and autumn, we will explore these values more deeply through culture workshops, focusing on how values are reflected in our daily work and everyday actions.
We deliver. We lead. We care.
In this article, CEO Tero Kosunen shares how an entrepreneurial mindset and a spirit of collaboration drive us forward — and why culture is everyone’s responsibility.
At Fidelix, entrepreneurial thinking shows up in everyday actions. “For us, it means having the courage to make decisions, take ownership, and develop our skills — independently, but not alone,” Tero explains. Our company is full of people creating their own growth stories. Our experts work at the forefront of building automation and product development, never hesitating to take on a challenge. “Our aim to be ‘stronger together’ comes to life at Fidelix in how we connect individual growth with succeeding together,” he adds.
Taking responsibility is part of every role at Fidelix — people are trusted to make decisions in their day-to-day work, whether they’re on-site or in a meeting. “We move things forward together, share knowledge, and take collective ownership of our work,” says Tero. The value “we deliver” reflects how our people act as reliable partners throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.
As we continue to grow, building clear structures and enabling smooth collaboration becomes increasingly important — without adding unnecessary bureaucracy. “In my role, I focus on making sure our ways of working can scale, and that our structures genuinely support agile success,” Tero explains.
A key part of his work is also helping experts connect across teams and units — so they can drive progress together. “Understanding how to bring the right people together is essential for moving things forward,” he adds. When individuals take ownership of their work, it creates a strong foundation for continuous development and collaboration that reaches beyond team boundaries.
Growth also highlights the growing importance of culture. Staying true to our value “we lead”, we believe everyone plays a role in shaping our culture — and in growing through it. “Team leadership is crucial, and one area I personally want to improve in is giving feedback,” Tero reflects. A constructive, supportive, and positive culture doesn’t happen by chance — it’s built every day, together.
